Borderland State Park

A truly grand experience for those who are looking for a more regal vibe.  Nestled in the midst of a forest, Borderland State Park is home to a mansion once belonging to botanist Oakes Ames and his artist and inventor wife Blanche Ames Ames.  Complete with sprawling fields, mini waterfalls, acres of magical forests and a pond, this luxurious location can be found tucked away in Easton, MA.

For those in more of a summer state of mind, there is no better location than that of Sandy Neck Beach.  Located in Barnstable, MA, this beautiful, Cape Cod beach provides everything from perfect sunsets and rolling sand dunes.  Not only that, Stacia maintains a special permit that permits her to drive onto the beach itself, giving you the VIP treatment and a session that you will never forget.

If you are seeking a more quaint experience, Simcock Farm is a lovely, fourth generation, working farm.  This location is seasonally based with many exciting windows of opportunity including a sunflower maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides and more!  Sessions are usually capped off with ice cream from their very own ice cream stand.

Bridge Village Heritage Park

Be careful when arriving at Bridge Village Heritage Park.  If you blink, you may miss it.  Located next to the Berkley – Dighton Bridge, this postage stamp sized park offers the most amount of beautiful photography opportunities per square foot than anywhere else I have ever shot at.  From the bridge, to the river, reeds, foliage and benches, you can’t go wrong with this location.

Outdoor Woodland Learners

Located in Berkley, MA, Outdoor Woodland Learners is a non profit, outdoor nature program for declared homeschoolers of preschoolers through third grade.  It is owned and run by Stacia’s family and, fun fact, Stacia works with the preschool program during the morning!  This also makes the 18 acres of private land that the program uses, accessible for photoshoots when the program is not in session.  There are 18 acres of beautiful nature to be used including small streams, moss covered stone walls and beautiful foliage opportunities.  The forest is yours to explore with complete privacy from the public.

Westport Town Farm

If you follow the long and winding Drift Road in Westport, MA, you will pass many beautiful farms that look perfectly peaceful and untouched by the world.  One of these is Westport Town farm.  40 acres or breathtaking views await you at this location.  If the old, perfectly built rock walls and barn don’t have you swooning, the view that overlooks the Westport river will.

White Mountains, NH

A little farther than the average session, the White Mountains of New Hampshire had to make the list as one of my favorite places to shoot.  The drive up north is worth the time as the images that come from a session in the mountains are nothing short of pure magic.  Mountain tops that take your breath away, private creeks to splash in and trails that never end, the White Mountains of NH should be considered for the client who is looking to go the extra mile to make their portraits an exceptional experience to be treasured forever.

Minimum package purchase is required and travel fees apply.
